Our sweet and amazing Studio Manager, Jen, is incredible in every single way. She is taking those wonderful talents to her next season in life where she will be working for a marketing agency. Although I will miss her terribly, I am so excited for her to share her talents with the world! She has truly made a positive impact on the studio and even more so, in my heart.

So, with that, I am hiring! It thrills me to say that my business has grown significantly over the past few years. Along with this wonderful growth comes added workload that is beyond my ability as a one-woman show. I will be bringing someone in to the studio who will add value to my life and help better serve my wonderful clients.

I have created the position of Studio Manager: a part-time position that will help to efficiently service my clients and further grow my business.

About me:

Emily Hardy Photography is a full service photography studio serving families and seniors as well as brides and grooms on their big day. I run the business out of my studio in Lincoln, Nebraska. I have been in the photography field for more than 15 years. I have been running Emily Hardy Photography for the past 10 years and have been in my current studio for more than two years. Emily Hardy Photography was voted in the top 20 Lincoln Wedding Photographers of 2016 {Expertise}.

I am my photography. This craft is me, strewn across thousands of prints and digital files.

I care about my clients. I care about how they feel during the photo session. I want to see their eyes light up when they see the results. I hope they smile and tear up decades later. I realize photography is a way to capture a moment, free of noise, and I want to give that to them.

About the position:
This is currently a part time position. Applicants must be self-motivated, hard-working and eager to learn. As Studio Manager, you will be answering emails, scheduling sessions, sending contracts and invoices, managing client files, reconciling books, maintaining the studio appearance, running errands and learning studio-specific needs. 

It is important to note that this position is an office position only, not a shooting position. If you are an aspiring photographer or know how to use Adobe products, that’s great, but not required for consideration. I may or may not expand this position to include photography training in the future.

I am currently looking for someone to join my team part-time.

Professional, friendly demeanor

Experienced with Word, Excel and Google Docs
Must be organized and have a love for organization
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Dog lover… My sweet Pomeranian puppy Iggy loves to visit the studio
Personal/administrative assistant experience, comfortable with Macs and Adobe products all a big bonus

Part-time position
Works with Emily at the studio 10-15 hours per week
Start date based on finding the perfect candidate

$10-$11 per hour based on experience
Mondays-Fridays, morning or afternoon, flexible schedule
