Senior Photography | Lincoln East High School | Lincoln, Nebraska
It’s so important to me to make each of my clients, no matter the age, feel 100% comfortable.
Little kids let their personalities shine through when they know it’s okay to do so. Parents let the worries about perfect behavior and perfect outfits go once they can relax and enjoy the time together. High school seniors smile their real, truly smile once they’ve shaken off the nerves.
Parker, Class of 2020, was just the sweetest young man to work with. I photographed his sister a few years ago. An equally wonderful gal.
The connection both of the kids have with their mom is so amazing. Especially Parker. He’s the baby of the family and I know is going to be the hardest on mom when she has an empty nest all too soon.
The phrase I heard both of the kids say more than once was, “Don’t start crying, Mom!” And then she would. And so would I, obviously.
Senior photos and the experience that goes along with them is so important to moms. They want their teen to feel incredibly comfortable so that they photos show their true personalities that moms want to remember every little bit of.
Carrie, Parker’s mom, sent me this sweet note after Parker’s session: “By far the easiest photographer to work with. Emily took both of my kid’s senior pictures & couldn’t have been more pleased! Emily has a wonderful outgoing personality which helped my kids relax & have fun!! Thank you Emily!”
I feel so honored that moms trust me to photograph these incredibly important moments in their seniors’ lives.
